The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Business Studies Teacher to join our Social Sciences team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning while contributing to a school culture that values collaboration, innovation, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies and Travel and Tourism lessons at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
  • Use formative and summative data to improve student outcomes and learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging resources and share best practices.
  • Support the school’s commitment to a growth mindset and positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Studies and Travel and Tourism curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
  • Assist with pastoral and administrative duties as required.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and respect within the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business Studies and Travel and Tourism.
  • Ability to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
  • Commitment to collaborative working and sharing of teaching ideas.
  • Strong understanding of assessment and data analysis to support learning.
  • A belief in the growth mindset philosophy.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Travel and Tourism at Key Stage 4.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong pastoral and academic support system.
  • Familiarity with Disruption Free Learning strategies.
  • Involvement in professional development and curriculum development.
