Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons at KS3, KS4, and KS5, with flexibility across topics.
• Foster a creative and problem-solving mindset in students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-functional teamwork and shared goals.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum requirements and student needs.
• Support students in developing technical skills and confidence in design thinking.
• Participate in professional development and continue to grow as an educator.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and events.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Design & Technology at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
• Commitment to student development and innovation in education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and across departments.

Preferred

• Experience with Food Technology as part of the Design & Technology curriculum.
• Familiarity with cross-functional teamwork and project-based learning.
• Experience in professional development and continuous learning.
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies in Design & Technology education.
