The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Girls Cricket Coach to lead and inspire young athletes in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role offers the chance to deliver a high-quality cricket programme for girls aged 11-18, helping them reach their full potential. The coach will work closely with the Head of Cricket to ensure a comprehensive and engaging sports experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach girls cricket across the senior school (ages 11-18) on four days a week in the afternoon.
- Deliver a structured and progressive cricket programme that caters to all ability levels.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Cricket to develop and implement coaching strategies.
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and excellence.
- Support the school’s winter training programme from January to March each year.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during coaching sessions.
- Encourage student engagement and foster a passion for cricket through innovative and fun coaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and programme outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in coaching girls cricket.
- Level 2 or above ECB coaching qualification.
- Experience working in a school environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience in developing individual and team performance.
- Familiarity with school sports programmes and curriculum requirements.
- Knowledge of sports development and youth coaching best practices.
