Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Physics curriculum.
  • Support students through personalized learning and pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Science Department and wider school.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Physics and education practices.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering resilience, integrity, and a spirit of curiosity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Physics experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics.
  • Experience in teaching at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and pastoral care.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a day and boarding school environment.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technology.
  • Experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team.
