The Opportunity:

As a Girls’ Sports Coach, you will play a pivotal role in developing and inspiring young athletes. You will deliver high-quality coaching in multiple sports and contribute to the school’s strong pastoral and community ethos, making a meaningful impact on students’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop athletes in hockey, netball, cricket, and tennis through engaging, structured sessions.
  • Deliver outreach and masterclasses to promote the school’s sporting programmes at feeder schools.
  • Support strength and conditioning programmes and assist with fitness testing and sports scholarship assessments.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care of students, including tutoring and participation in school life.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages sporting excellence and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, welfare, and safeguarding in all interactions with students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong background in girls’ sport, particularly hockey and/or netball.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of pastoral care and safeguarding.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes of all abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in strength and conditioning or athlete development.
  • Professional athlete or postgraduate with a background in sporting excellence.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £24,000.
  • Accommodation (subject to availability) and all meals during term time.
