The Opportunity:
We are seeking a creative and proactive Graphic Designer to support the delivery of high-quality design and visual content across a range of initiatives. This role is a key part of the school’s marketing and communications strategy, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on brand awareness and visual communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce engaging printed and digital materials, including brochures, posters, flyers, banners, presentations, and social media graphics.
- Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all outputs meet high standards of design, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Support colleagues in the correct use of brand materials, embedding strong visual communication across the organisation.
- Create visual content such as infographics, illustrations, short videos, and motion graphics.
- Assist with photography and videography at events, ensuring all content is catalogued, archived, and compliant with safeguarding and data protection requirements.
- Ensure all materials adhere to brand identity guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Respond to ad hoc briefs and planned campaigns, maintaining consistency and professionalism in all outputs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Demonstrable experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of both digital and print work.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator and InDesign.
- Strong visual communication skills with the ability to interpret briefs and create engaging, accessible design solutions.
- Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of brand identity, accessibility, and copyright requirements.
- Collaborative and approachable, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues.
Preferred
- Experience with creating multimedia content such as videos and motion graphics.
- Experience working within an educational setting or with educational organisations.
- Experience with brand development and the evolution of visual identity.
