The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Art Teacher to cover a temporary maternity leave position, starting in September 2026. The role involves teaching A Level Graphic Communication, Fine Art, and/or Photography across multiple subjects. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching across A Level Graphic Communication, Fine Art, and/or Photography.
• Support students in achieving academic success and personal development.
• Contribute to the development of departmental strategies and resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
• Monitor and assess student progress in line with academic standards.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to art.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in A Level Art subjects.
• Strong knowledge of Graphic Communication, Fine Art, and/or Photography.
• Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a school setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching across multiple A Level Art subjects.
• Familiarity with the Inspire Learning Trust’s values and mission.
• Experience with Safer Recruitment processes and DBS checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
