Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair sports pitches, gardens, and golf course to the highest standards.
• Carry out general grounds maintenance around school buildings and surrounding areas.
• Perform drainage works, fencing repairs, and other essential maintenance tasks.
• Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed to meet the school's expectations and standards.
• Manage time and resources effectively to meet deadlines and priorities.
• Support the use of the grounds by students, staff, and the public.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a similar grounds maintenance role.
• Strong organisational and time-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements and machinery operation.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of work.

Preferred

• Experience with sports pitch maintenance and golf course care.
• Familiarity with landscaping and horticultural practices.
