Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the school’s outdoor spaces, sports facilities, and grounds.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repair tasks as required.
• Work closely with the Operations and Professional Services team to support school events and activities.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain the school’s high standards.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new grounds maintenance initiatives.
• Report any issues or concerns promptly to the relevant team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.
• Reliable and punctual, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of horticulture or landscape maintenance.
• Experience with the use of grounds maintenance equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience with child safeguarding procedures.
