The Opportunity:
As the Head of MOE Subjects, you will lead and support the delivery of the curriculum, ensuring student progress and attainment. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive teaching excellence and achieve outstanding learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the MOE Subjects department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and attainment across all year groups.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement effective action plans.
- Support teachers in delivering outstanding lessons and achieving learning outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure alignment with the school’s vision and curriculum standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to department members.
- Contribute to the development and review of the school’s curriculum and assessment strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant teaching qualification or license with experience leading Arabic/Islamic departments.
- Minimum of 5 years’ senior or middle leadership experience in a similar setting.
- Experience teaching and leading in an American curriculum school environment.
- Proven ability as an inspirational and reflective senior leader.
- Strong classroom teaching skills with a can-do attitude and flexibility.
- Commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, and a passion for education.
Preferred
- Experience in leading curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Background in international education or IB program delivery.
- Experience in leading large teams and managing departmental operations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with senior leadership and staff.
