Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Business department, ensuring a high-quality curriculum is delivered across KS4 and KS5.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through effective instruction and personalized learning approaches.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Promote the department’s success through strong leadership and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the department meets all academic and pastoral standards.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align departmental goals with school-wide priorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Business education.
- High expectations of students and a commitment to their academic and personal development.
- Experience in addressing barriers to learning and supporting diverse student needs.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership role within a school or educational setting.
- Familiarity with strategies for improving student achievement and engagement.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
