Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons tailored to the needs of girls aged 11 to 16.
  • Work collaboratively with the PE faculty and the Director of Learning for Sports, Vocational and Community to enhance the PE curriculum.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and personal development.
  • Support the school’s vision by contributing to the wider life and ethos of the institution.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritise actions to meet the demands of the role under pressure.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to staff training initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching PE, preferably with a focus on girls.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering innovative PE programs.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies in PE.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or similar.
  • Previous involvement in extracurricular sports or physical activities.
