Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Computing and ICT department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring that all learners achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support staff development.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and creativity within the department.
  • Ensure that the department meets all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align departmental goals with school-wide objectives.
  • Support the development of student skills and confidence in Computing and ICT.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computing and ICT.
  • Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
  • Strong track record in delivering high academic outcomes for students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a department or team.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in Computing and ICT education.
  • Experience with curriculum design and assessment strategies.
  • Familiarity with technology integration in teaching and learning.
