The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Computing and ICT department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that inspires and engages students in Computing and ICT.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring that all learners achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support staff development.
- Promote a culture of innovation and creativity within the department.
- Ensure that the department meets all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align departmental goals with school-wide objectives.
- Support the development of student skills and confidence in Computing and ICT.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computing and ICT.
- Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
- Strong track record in delivering high academic outcomes for students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a department or team.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in Computing and ICT education.
- Experience with curriculum design and assessment strategies.
- Familiarity with technology integration in teaching and learning.
