Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computer Science to A‑Level and support Mathematics instruction at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
  • Participate in the school’s co-curricular activities, including STEAM initiatives and digital innovation projects.
  • Support the professional development of students and colleagues through mentorship and shared learning.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Computer Science education.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Computer Science to A‑Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Background in digital innovation or STEAM education.
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting early career teachers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Showcase School initiatives and digital learning tools.
