The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science to A‑Level and support Mathematics instruction at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
- Participate in the school’s co-curricular activities, including STEAM initiatives and digital innovation projects.
- Support the professional development of students and colleagues through mentorship and shared learning.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Computer Science education.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Computer Science to A‑Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Background in digital innovation or STEAM education.
- Experience in mentoring or supporting early career teachers.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Showcase School initiatives and digital learning tools.
