The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Creative Arts Faculty to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to raise achievement and outcomes in music and creative arts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular links and student engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Promote a culture of creativity, innovation, and high expectations within the faculty.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align faculty goals with the school’s strategic vision.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff within the Creative Arts Faculty.
- Represent the faculty in school-wide meetings and external events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in leading a Creative Arts Faculty or similar department.
- Strong track record in teaching and delivering high-quality music and creative arts education.
- Demonstrable ability to raise student achievement and outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to the school’s values of respect, aspiration, and mutual support.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation within creative subjects.
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in music and creative arts education.
- Experience in mentoring and developing teaching staff.
- Familiarity with inclusive education and differentiated teaching strategies.
