Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the development of the secondary school’s academic and pastoral strategy.
• Work closely with the Head of School to ensure the delivery of high-quality education aligned with the school’s vision and values.
• Oversee and monitor the performance of teaching and support staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Manage the pastoral care system, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
• Represent the school at various events and meetings, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with parents, students, and colleagues to promote a positive and cohesive school community.
• Ensure the effective implementation of school policies and procedures.
• Support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning across the secondary school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a school setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• In-depth knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the school’s values and mission, including Kindness, Responsibility, Respect, Courage, and Integrity.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.

Preferred

• Experience in a British or international school setting.
• Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme or other international curricula.
• Experience in pastoral leadership and student welfare.
• Fluency in a second language, particularly Mandarin.
