Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the English department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages.
• Develop and implement a cohesive and integrated approach to English education in collaboration with other departments.
• Work with external partners to create programs and initiatives that enrich the learning experience beyond the classroom.
• Support and mentor teachers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Oversee the curriculum, ensuring it meets the highest standards and aligns with the school’s vision and goals.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support and interventions where needed.
• Represent the department at school-level meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
• Promote a love of English and literature among students, encouraging engagement and enthusiasm for the subject.
