Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a forward-thinking SEND faculty with strategic clarity and high expectations.
- Ensure the delivery of an innovative, inclusive, and future-focused curriculum tailored to learners with high needs.
- Empower staff through coaching, collaboration, and a clear vision for excellence.
- Drive quality, progression, and high-impact outcomes for all learners, with a focus on inclusion and attainment.
- Champion safeguarding, equality, and inclusion across all aspects of the faculty.
- Contribute to the College Management Team, helping to shape college-wide strategy and transformation.
- Foster a culture of high aspiration, individuality, and continuous improvement.
- Support the development of staff through leadership and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong leadership experience in a good or outstanding curriculum area.
- A proven track record of improving outcomes for learners with high needs.
- Deep commitment to inclusive education and closing attainment gaps.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and partners.
- A growth mindset and a relentless focus on student experience and progression.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum design and innovation in SEND education.
- Experience in managing and developing teams within a college or educational setting.
- A passion for transforming students’ lives through education and inclusion.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and equality policies in education.
