As an Associate Lecturer in Business or Travel & Tourism, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of students in the Faculty of Business, Tourism and Adventure. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Business or Travel & Tourism, tailored to the needs of students.
- Support students in reaching their full potential through engaging, industry-relevant content.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and course materials.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Manage a timetable of 2-4 days’ teaching, with flexibility to accommodate other commitments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant industry experience or teaching/training experience in Business or Travel & Tourism.
- A strong commitment to education and a passion for helping young people succeed.
- A positive, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or training within further education or similar sectors.
- Familiarity with current industry trends and developments in Business or Tourism.
- Experience with curriculum design or course development.
- A willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
