Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Business or Travel & Tourism, tailored to the needs of students.
  • Support students in reaching their full potential through engaging, industry-relevant content.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and course materials.
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Manage a timetable of 2-4 days’ teaching, with flexibility to accommodate other commitments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant industry experience or teaching/training experience in Business or Travel & Tourism.
  • A strong commitment to education and a passion for helping young people succeed.
  • A positive, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or training within further education or similar sectors.
  • Familiarity with current industry trends and developments in Business or Tourism.
  • Experience with curriculum design or course development.
  • A willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
