Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across a range of ability levels.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of engaging Mathematics resources and teaching materials.
- Support and extend students through enrichment activities, including Oxbridge preparation and national competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
- Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
- Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and curriculum changes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Mathematics teacher with relevant experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Mathematics to girls at secondary level.
- Commitment to student development and academic excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Oxbridge preparation or national competitions.
- Familiarity with teaching in a single-sex school environment.
- Experience in developing and delivering enrichment programmes.
- Leadership or team teaching experience.
