The Opportunity:

As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students, acting as a key ambassador for the school. This role offers the chance to contribute to the daily operations of a school that values integrity, kindness, and a commitment to student welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport pupils to and from school, ensuring punctuality and adherence to schedules.
• Uphold and promote the school's values and ethos at all times.
• Maintain the minibus in a clean and safe condition, performing regular checks.
• Assist with additional Facilities Assistant duties, including minor maintenance, housekeeping, and site security.
• Support the smooth running of the school during term time, Monday to Friday.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to transportation and school operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving a minibus or similar vehicle.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience working in an educational setting.
• Familiarity with school operations and transport procedures.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with vehicle maintenance.
• Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as a Facilities Assistant.
