The Opportunity:
As the Head of Marketing and Admissions, you will lead and develop the marketing and admissions team, driving innovative campaigns and ensuring a high standard of service. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the school’s strong reputation and supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns to meet recruitment targets.
- Manage the production of the prospectus, refresh and maintain the school’s website, and deliver exceptional experiences during open days.
- Provide first-class admissions support, offering sound information, advice, and guidance to applicants throughout the year.
- Support feeder schools in meeting Gatsby benchmarks and other relevant standards.
- Maintain and build upon the school’s strong reputation through consistent and high-quality service.
- Organise and motivate a team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor and track all marketing and admissions activities with precision and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a marketing or admissions role within further education or a related sector.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent IT literacy and customer service skills.
- Experience in developing and delivering marketing campaigns and managing admissions processes.
Preferred
- Experience in the FE sector or a commercial marketing environment.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Experience in supporting feeder schools or working with external partners.
- Familiarity with online application systems and admissions software.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £40,144 - £49,464 per annum.
- LGPS 20.6%+ defined benefit pension scheme (including life assurance).
