The Opportunity:

As Head of Secondary Science, you will lead Science teaching across Key Stage 3 and support the development of Key Stage 4 and 5. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Science education and drive high academic outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Science and teach across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
  • Demonstrate exceptional subject knowledge and leadership impact
  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences
  • Use student data to optimise progress and personalise learning
  • Promote a high performance mindset and continuous improvement
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS
  • Strong subject knowledge across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
  • Experience in leading and driving standards in Science education
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with exam boards and pathways at Key Stage 4 and 5
  • Background in high performance learning environments
  • Experience in a British curriculum school
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and best practice in teaching and learning
