The Opportunity:

The Head of MOE Subjects will lead and support the delivery of MOE subjects, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning outcomes. This role is central to driving academic success and fostering a culture of excellence within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor student progress, attainment, and curriculum delivery across MOE subjects.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure alignment with school goals and action plans.
• Support and develop teachers to achieve outstanding teaching practices and effective learning results.
• Assess the impact of school initiatives and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.
• Lead and inspire a team of educators, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with curriculum standards and MOE requirements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide strategies for academic success.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to department members to enhance teaching quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant teaching qualification or license with experience leading an Arabic/Islamic department.
• Minimum of two years of senior or middle leadership experience in a similar educational setting.
• Experience teaching and leading in an American curriculum school environment.
• Proven ability as an inspirational and outstanding senior leader.
• Strong leadership skills with a flexible and enthusiastic approach to challenges.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and delivery.

Preferred

• Experience in international education settings or with diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with MOE curriculum standards and requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in school management or leadership roles within an international school.
