The Opportunity:

As the Head of Philanthropy Operations, you will lead the systems and processes that support fundraising and donor engagement across the school network. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable growth and ensuring that philanthropy plays a central role in enabling access to education for girls from all backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of systems, processes, and reporting that support philanthropy and donor engagement across the school network.
  • Oversee CRM, data analysis, and performance insight to improve decision-making, donor stewardship, and long-term relationship management.
  • Provide high-quality reporting to senior leaders and Trustees, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Lead a small team to deliver strong operational support across the school network.
  • Equip colleagues across schools and central teams with the tools, guidance, and insight needed to strengthen fundraising and supporter engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Significant experience in philanthropy or fundraising operations leadership, with a track record of managing systems and processes in a complex organisation.
  • Substantial experience in CRM management, data analysis, and fundraising reporting.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working at senior levels.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams, and a good understanding of fundraising regulation, compliance, and data protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in a large educational institution or similar complex organisation.
  • A proven ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations and practical action.
  • Experience in donor stewardship and long-term relationship management.
