Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the PE department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum aligned with the school's educational values.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in physical education and sport.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PE with other areas of the curriculum.
- Promote a culture of health, fitness, and lifelong participation in sport.
- Support the development of staff through professional growth and training.
- Contribute to the extra-curricular program, including sports teams and events.
- Monitor student progress and ensure inclusive and challenging opportunities for all.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior teaching or departmental role.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for physical education.
- Experience in curriculum development and delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a successful PE department.
