The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a Visual Communications & Reprographics Apprentice to join its creative team and contribute to impactful design and print projects. This role offers a structured Level 3 apprenticeship, providing real-world experience and the opportunity to develop skills in digital and print-based visual communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce high-quality visual content and print materials for school use.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of school branding across digital and print formats.
  • Use design tools such as Canva and Adobe software to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Collaborate with the Reprographics team to produce resources that support teaching and school events.
  • Assist in the organisation and execution of creative projects across the school community.
  • Ensure all visual communications align with the school’s brand guidelines and standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s visual communication processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Enthusiasm for design, visual communication or creative media.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills using design software.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative on projects.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Previous experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe software.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Experience in a creative or educational setting.
