Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Heads of Departments and Senior Technicians in coordinating the use of practical resources and facilities
- Provide support and advice to teaching staff and support staff on meeting curriculum needs
- Liaise with staff across the school to ensure resources are available and maintained
- Maintain and manage tools, machinery, and materials used in secondary school departments
- Ensure health and safety standards are upheld in all technical areas
- Support the delivery of practical lessons and workshops
- Assist in the planning and organization of school events and activities
- Maintain accurate records of resource usage and equipment maintenance
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working in a workshop or technical support role
- Knowledge of tools, machinery, and materials used in secondary school departments
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-focused approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of integrity and confidentiality
Preferred
- Experience in an educational setting
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn
- Experience with curriculum support or teaching assistance
