As the Head of Primary Learning Support, you will lead and shape learning support strategies that help every child thrive. This role is ideal for an experienced educator passionate about inclusion, student wellbeing, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the strategic direction of learning support provision within the Primary School
• Assess student needs and develop tailored interventions to support academic progress
• Collaborate with teachers to implement inclusive practices and differentiated instruction
• Communicate effectively with parents to ensure a supportive and transparent partnership
• Monitor and report on student progress using data-informed approaches
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion
• Support and mentor the learning support team through coaching and collaborative planning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Degree in education or a related field with specialist training in SEND or Learning Support
• Significant experience supporting primary-aged learners, including literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development
• Expertise in assessing learning needs and adapting instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with teachers, assistants, and pastoral teams
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing

Preferred

• Experience in a leadership or management role within education
• Familiarity with international curricula such as the British or IB programmes
• Experience with professional development and coaching
• Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies and technologies
