Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with the school’s mission and growth objectives.
- Lead and manage a dedicated recruitment team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, schools, and external partners.
- Oversee the coordination of recruitment events, open days, and outreach initiatives.
- Monitor and report on recruitment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality candidate experience across all recruitment touchpoints.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align recruitment efforts with the school’s long-term vision and strategic goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in student recruitment and admissions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a recruitment or admissions role, preferably in education.
- Strong track record in developing and executing successful recruitment strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a team.
- In-depth knowledge of the independent school sector and student recruitment processes.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Experience in leading recruitment initiatives for international student admissions.
- Familiarity with digital recruitment tools and marketing platforms.
- Experience in a school setting with a strong ethos or values-driven culture.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies in education.
