The Opportunity:

As the Head of Student Recruitment, you will lead the development and execution of a dynamic and innovative recruitment strategy that attracts students from local and global communities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with the school’s mission and growth objectives.
  • Lead and manage a dedicated recruitment team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, schools, and external partners.
  • Oversee the coordination of recruitment events, open days, and outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality candidate experience across all recruitment touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align recruitment efforts with the school’s long-term vision and strategic goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in student recruitment and admissions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a recruitment or admissions role, preferably in education.
  • Strong track record in developing and executing successful recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the independent school sector and student recruitment processes.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading recruitment initiatives for international student admissions.
  • Familiarity with digital recruitment tools and marketing platforms.
  • Experience in a school setting with a strong ethos or values-driven culture.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies in education.
