Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of Heads of Years 9-11.
• Inspire and develop departmental staff through leadership and professional development.
• Lead curriculum planning and innovation aligned with the school’s mission.
• Monitor teaching and learning to ensure consistently high standards.
• Support the academic and pastoral needs of students in Years 9-11.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Head Pastoral and Deputy Head Academic to contribute to the school’s strategic direction.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Ensure the implementation of effective learning and pastoral support strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of four years’ relevant teaching experience.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A passion for working with children.

Preferred

• Experience working in an international or independent school.
• Experience teaching pupils with English as an Additional Language.
