The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the academic direction and performance of the Upper School
• Collaborate with the Head of School to ensure a cohesive and thriving school community
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance teaching and learning standards
• Support and evaluate the performance of Upper School teaching staff
• Ensure a safe, positive, and healthy learning environment for all students
• Engage with students, parents, and governors to maintain strong relationships and support school objectives
• Monitor and maintain the quality of educational programs across the Upper School
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of academic standards and curriculum development
• Experience in managing and developing teaching staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and stakeholders
• Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding

Preferred

• Experience in a school leadership role within a similar educational institution
• Background in school governance or policy development
• Experience with international or bilingual education environments
