Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large, complex school effectively with strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality teaching and learning across all year groups.

  • Oversee financial and operational management to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students and staff.
  • Demonstrate resilience and strategic thinking to lead the school through growth and change.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Curriculum expertise across all year groups.
  • Experience in financial and operational management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing large, diverse teams.
  • Background in school improvement or transformation.
  • Experience with school expansion or growth initiatives.
  • Knowledge of modern educational practices and digital learning tools.
