Key Responsibilities:
- Shape the vision, culture, and values of the school
- Provide strategic leadership with clarity, ambition, and heart
- Embed a trauma-informed, inclusive, and aspirational culture
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a highly skilled staff team
- Deliver a broad and innovative curriculum with co-curricular opportunities
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents, carers, and local authorities
- Ensure operational delivery, safeguarding, quality, and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in specialist education
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experienced Headteacher or Deputy Head ready for headship
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with senior leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and/or ISI
- Proven ability in budget, resource, and change management
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NPQH or working towards
Preferred
- Experience with pastoral care and student wellbeing
- Experience in leading curriculum development
- Experience in working with vulnerable or neurodiverse students
- Experience with safeguarding and compliance procedures
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £85,000 per annum
- Term time only contract with 40 hours per week
