Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the vision, culture, and values of the school
  • Provide strategic leadership with clarity, ambition, and heart
  • Embed a trauma-informed, inclusive, and aspirational culture
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a highly skilled staff team
  • Deliver a broad and innovative curriculum with co-curricular opportunities
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents, carers, and local authorities
  • Ensure operational delivery, safeguarding, quality, and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in specialist education

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experienced Headteacher or Deputy Head ready for headship
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with senior leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and/or ISI
  • Proven ability in budget, resource, and change management
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NPQH or working towards

Preferred

  • Experience with pastoral care and student wellbeing
  • Experience in leading curriculum development
  • Experience in working with vulnerable or neurodiverse students
  • Experience with safeguarding and compliance procedures

Compensation & Benefits:
