The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced History Teacher to join our dynamic team. This part-time, fixed-term role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal growth within a supportive and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach History to students on the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme (Years 12 and 13) and the Pre-IB programme (Year 11)
• Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students in a small class setting
• Lead an extra-curricular CAS activity group to enhance student development
• Provide pastoral support as a Personal Tutor to approximately 12 students
• Contribute to the general academic direction and operation of the institution
• Maintain and improve the quality of educational provision within the subject area

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in History or a related field
• Proven experience teaching History at the IB level
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Preferred

• Experience with the International Baccalaureate curriculum
• Ability to lead and mentor students through extra-curricular activities
• Experience in pastoral care or student support roles
• Fluency in additional languages
