The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Housekeeper Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. The successful candidate will support the housekeeping team in ensuring the school remains hygienic and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all areas of the school to the highest standard.
• Ensure all restrooms, classrooms, and common areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for all.
• Work flexible hours and be available for shift times as required.
• Assist in the storage and organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the school’s commitment to hygiene and cleanliness during term time and additional weeks.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adhere to a shift pattern.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
