The Opportunity:
As an HR Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support to the in-school HR function, playing a key role in ensuring smooth operations and staff satisfaction. This is a varied and impactful role for someone who enjoys building relationships and contributing to a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the in-school HR function by providing administrative assistance and guidance to staff.
- Act as the first point of contact for school-based staff, offering support and advice as required.
- Assist with the management of HR processes, including payroll, leave, and staff records.
- Coordinate with the central HR team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Help maintain a positive and professional working environment for all staff members.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and staff development opportunities.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within education.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using HR software and office applications.
- Ability to work flexibly, including term time and INSET days.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience in supporting staff development and well-being initiatives.
- Previous experience in recruitment or onboarding processes.
Compensation & Benefits:
- 30 hours per week, on a term time basis, plus INSET and 2 weeks holiday.
