Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Health and Physical Education department effectively.
  • Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that promotes physical fitness and lifelong healthy habits.

  • Support the professional development of teaching staff within the department.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and engagement in physical education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in managing a department within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage resources and timetables effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience in sport, fitness, or health education.
