Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the school aligned with its mission and values.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all areas of the school.
  • Ensure the school maintains and exceeds high standards in student achievement and personal development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, students, and the local community, to support the school’s growth and success.
  • Oversee the management of resources, facilities, and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote the school’s ethos of Achievement, Care, and Excellence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Ensure effective leadership and management of the school’s curriculum, including specialisms in English and Digital Technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles within education, ideally as a Headteacher.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving student outcomes and school performance.
  • Strong knowledge of current pedagogical trends and innovative teaching practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing large teams and leading strategic development within a school setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school with an all-through model (4-19).
  • Familiarity with the use of technology in education, particularly in Digital Technologies and iPad-based learning.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational partnership.
