The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England and UAE Ministry of Education standards.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and student engagement.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that reflect the school's vision of Grow, Flourish, Discover "You".
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's extra-curricular and community-based events.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to students to ensure their academic and personal growth.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to build strong relationships and promote student success.
  • Participate in professional development and training programs to enhance teaching practice and leadership potential.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s academic and pastoral programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Humanities at a relevant level.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
  • Commitment to the school’s core values of Grow, Flourish, Discover "You".
  • A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.

Preferred

  • Experience with the National Curriculum for England or UAE Ministry of Education curricula.
  • Experience with the NQT, QTS, or iPGCE programmes.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • A proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
