Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Humanities subjects to students across key stages.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through innovative teaching and assessment strategies.

  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and attendance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Humanities.
  • Proven experience in teaching Humanities at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering A-level and GCSE courses.
  • Familiarity with current educational trends and technologies.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the department.
