The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students across all key stages.
- Support the development of a rigorous and innovative curriculum, reviewed annually for continuous improvement.
- Lead and participate in weekly professional development sessions to enhance teaching practice.
- Foster a culture of mathematical curiosity through extra-curricular activities, clubs, and enrichment opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school, including primary and secondary phases, to support student progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
- Engage in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive school culture.
- Participate in pastoral and wider school responsibilities as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Experience in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching across multiple key stages.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience in extra-curricular or enrichment activities related to Maths.
- Experience with assessment and data analysis to support student progress.
- Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
