Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality IB Business teaching to students of all abilities, using a student-centered, inquiry-based learning approach.
• Plan and implement engaging, challenging, and innovative learning experiences that align with IB curriculum standards.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively, using assessment to drive learning and support student achievement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and student engagement.
• Work closely with colleagues to support the school’s mission of developing international-mindedness and promoting a cohesive, spirited community.
• Communicate regularly with parents and students to ensure a shared understanding of learning goals and progress.
• Participate in school events and contribute to the development of a strong, supportive school culture.
• Stay up to date with developments in the IB Business curriculum and continue to enhance teaching practice through professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelors degree in Business Studies or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
• Minimum of three years experience teaching in a reputable school
• Subject specific experience in an IB or GCSE school
• A track record of outstanding student results
• Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
• Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment and integrity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Inter-cultural awareness and ability to engage with students and parents

Preferred

• Experience with the IB programme
• Experience in planning rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences
• Strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom
• Passion for stretching students to achieve their potential
