As the IB IGCSE Head of EAL Teacher, you will lead and inspire students across the senior school, delivering high-quality EAL instruction aligned with the IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE frameworks. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver EAL instruction for senior school students with a focus on IB MYP and IGCSE curricula.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and development of concept-based units of inquiry.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students at all ability levels.
• Implement a constructivist approach to learning that promotes student autonomy and engagement.
• Foster international-mindedness and service learning within the classroom and school community.
• Maintain high standards of organization and communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Support the development of the wider school community through collaborative initiatives and leadership.
• Teach additional subjects as required to support student learning and school needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience teaching EAL across the senior school, with IB MYP and IGCSE experience.
• Strong understanding of the IB philosophy and curriculum framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a teaching qualification.
• Relevant international teaching experience.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
