The Opportunity:

As an IBCP Coordinator, you will lead the development and implementation of the International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme, ensuring alignment with IB Standards & Practices and supporting students, staff, and parents throughout the CP journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of the IBCP in line with IB Standards & Practices and institutional requirements.
• Coordinate curriculum documentation, including the CP Core, career-related study assessment plan, and alignment with DP subjects.
• Ensure the implementation of required IB policies, including language, assessment, academic honesty, and IT standards.
• Build staff capacity through training, CPD planning, and communication of updates to regulations and practices.
• Support student recruitment, pathways, and parent engagement through information sessions and guidance on subject selection.
• Provide academic support, including assessment coordination, university liaison, and advocacy for student wellbeing.
• Foster community partnerships with IB regional offices, universities, and external partners for work experience and placement opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, PGDE, QTS)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a middle or senior leadership role
• Fluency in English
• Expert knowledge of IB Standards and Practices

Preferred

• Experience with the DP curriculum framework
• Strong knowledge of international accreditation and evaluation frameworks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and health and safety
• High emotional intelligence and intercultural awareness
