Key Responsibilities:

• Teach General Science (Grades 6–8) and Biology/ESS (Grades 9–12) within the IBDP and High School Diploma Programmes.
• Design and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and support students of all abilities.
• Use data to inform teaching and drive student progress through effective assessment and planning.
• Collaborate with the Science Department to develop shared resources and improve curriculum practices.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs while maintaining high academic standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, colleagues, and school leaders.
• Uphold strong classroom management and student behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support school life through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant Biology/Environmental Science discipline.
• Valid teaching certification meeting Qatar MoEHE requirements.
• Proven experience teaching Biology and/or ESS in IBDP, High School Diploma, or A Level programmes.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and differentiated teaching strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience teaching IBDP Biology and/or ESS.
• A passion for fostering intellectual curiosity and learning beyond the curriculum.
• Experience in curriculum development and professional collaboration.
