The Opportunity:

As an Arabic & Islamic Studies Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of Arabic language and Islamic heritage. This position offers the chance to contribute to a culturally rich, inclusive, and high-performing learning environment aligned with MoEHE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Arabic Language (Modern Standard and Classical Arabic) and Islamic Studies in line with MoEHE curriculum frameworks
• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote language acquisition and values-based learning
• Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and differentiation for diverse learners
• Promote appreciation of Arabic language, culture, and Islamic heritage through classroom and school-wide activities
• Contribute to school events such as Ramadan activities, Quran competitions, and Arabic Language Day
• Maintain strong communication with parents and support student wellbeing
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and professional standards

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language or related field
• Valid teaching certification meeting Qatar MOEHE requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in Arabic and/or Islamic Studies
• Strong knowledge of Arabic language pedagogy and Islamic Studies curriculum
• Basic English proficiency

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Experience in a multicultural, international school environment
• Ability to lead or support extracurricular activities related to Arabic and Islamic culture
