Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student achievement.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote student engagement and wellbeing.
- Participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
- Exceptional subject knowledge in science, with experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
- Proven experience teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE, AS/A Level.
- A strong track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
- Commitment to contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with evidence-based teaching practices and innovative pedagogy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives.
