Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop curriculum content.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support student progress.
• Work closely with support staff to ensure students receive the necessary assistance.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and improve student outcomes.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide events and activities.
• Run weekly extra-curricular activities to enrich student experiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.

Preferred

• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Recent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Experience with the Massachusetts Common Core Curriculum.
• Familiarity with assessment tools such as Target Tracker.
• Experience in behaviour management and classroom leadership.
