We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving Secondary Humanities team. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
• Develop engaging and innovative teaching resources to support student learning.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity.
• Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and support the school’s mission of excellence.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
• Support students in developing a global perspective through Geography education.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and QTS or equivalent.
• Or an internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Geography or a closely related subject with a teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Geography and QTS or equivalent.
• Or an internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Geography and one year of teaching Geography experience.
• Strong commitment to creating an inspiring and child-centered learning environment.
• Experience in delivering Geography education at the Secondary level.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and support the school’s mission and values.

Preferred

• Experience with the Early Career Framework and ECT induction.
• Experience with international education and multicultural environments.
• Familiarity with assessment tools such as GL CAT4 and GL Progress tests.
• Experience with BTEC qualifications or other alternative pathways.
• Fluency in Arabic or other languages spoken within the school community.
